MINI ROMAINE SALAD

Light and springy mini romaine lettuce is characterized by fleshy, dark leaves on the outside and softer, sweeter inside. In a classic version, it is the basis of the beloved Caesar salad. It can be blanched, stewed or grilled. It works great as a grilled or oven dish, just add a little Parmesan cheese to it. It can also be used as a bread substitute in burgers.
