MINI ROMAINE SALAD
Light and springy mini romaine lettuce is characterized by fleshy, dark leaves on the outside and softer, sweeter inside. In a classic version, it is the basis of the beloved Caesar salad. It can be blanched, stewed or grilled. It works great as a grilled or oven dish, just add a little Parmesan cheese to it. It can also be used as a bread substitute in burgers.
Romaine lettuce is considered one of the most valuable lettuce. It is a valuable source of vitamin K, as well as rich in potassium, folic acid and manganese, which participates in the metabolism of cholesterol, carbohydrates and red blood cells. At the same time, it has only 28 kcal in 100 g, so it is an invaluable component of any diet.
